This will be a shorter post. It has been a crazy few weeks, as I felt like (and probably is fairly accurate) I was at the office for about 140 hours the last two weeks. I have quite a few things to post about over the next few weeks that God has placed on my heart.
First of all, I am excited (and humbled) to say that I will have a chance to compete from people across the world in a Crossfit competition in Miami in January of 2018. I was able to get an invite (which was unexpected), and I can’t wait for this opportunity to be around some of the top athletes, both adaptive and “regular” competitors. I am in full training mode for this competition right now. I appreciate any and all prayers for staying injury free during this time. More importantly, I am asking for prayers to be able to use this opportunity for intentional conversations with people during this competition. It is four 12 hour days around these awesome people, so I am the only limiting factor regarding opportunity for conversation. I understand why God has blessed me with this opportunity, and it is not for my glory. Pray for me that I remember that, as it is easy to get caught up in the congratulatory rhetoric. Pray that I stay focused on the task that has been placed before me. Love you all.
